Happy ((High Five)) Friday, Beautiful readers!

What’s raising your vibrations today?
A piece of good news? Something that has you feeling inspired? A feeling of gratitude? Something you’re co-creating for your future? Or maybe something you’re excited to give back to the world?

High Five Friday is all about all of those things here on Journal and Journey, and harnessing their power to elevate your state. Use the power of positivity to end the work week, and begin the weekend, on a high note.

To reap all the positive feels and good vibes from your High Five Friday reflection, write about them in your journal, share on social media (#highfivefridayvibes) and/or use them as cues and questions for positive conversation among friends and coworkers.

Then, if you’re looking for more feel-good Friday inspo, check out my alternating Friday posts Ten Things of Thankful, and enhance your own gratitude practice.

_You attract the energy that you give off. Spread good vibes, think positively, enjoy life._
As for today, here is my high vibe, high five:

1 Piece of Good News: Yale is offering a FREE online course in psychology called, The Science of Well-being.

Yale is Letting Anyone Take it’s Most Popular Class Ever for Free

“The purpose of the course is to not only learn what psychological research says about what makes us happy but also to put those strategies into practice.”

Is anyone else as excited about this as I am?!

What’s the good word this week?

1 Thing that Inspires Me: The artistry, soul, and energy in live music. This week I saw The Hot Club of Cowtown perform at one of my favorite venues, The Musical Instrument Museum, here in Phoenix. There’s just no comparison to seeing and hearing artists on stage, it sends be back to my performing days and fills me right up!  I only wished there had been dancing (and also that I knew how to dance… 4 years in the South West and I still haven’t learned how to two-step.)

What, or who, inspires you?

1 Thing that I’m Grateful For: I am feeling extra grateful for my musical background and education this week. I may not being doing much (anything) with my music right now, but it will forever make up an important part of my life. I feel good when I’m talking about music, taking in performances, listening, and understanding its language, and I am forever grateful to my parents who supported my passion always, and to the teachers who inspired and lead me.

What are you feeling grateful for?

1 Thing to Manifest: Opportunities! I am ready to say YES to what the universe brings my way!

What does your future hold?

1 Thing to Give: In honor of Earth Day this Sunday, April 22nd, I am donating to my local community clean-up and green committee, Keep Scottsdale Beautiful. To celebrate Earth Day every day, I made a commitment last year to pick up trash in my path. When I walk through a parking lot, I pick up the litter on the ground as I work my way to the front doors of the building – there is always a trashcan outside. I often wonder how much less litter there would be if everyone picked up a piece or two, rather than walk by it (Yes, that’s a HINT).

What will you give this week?

Have a Happy, High-Vibe, Friday!
Sarah
