Happy Friday, Beautiful!
Here’s this week’s list of five, high five, high vibe, good things to celebrate the end of the workweek and kick off the weekend on a positive note: happy news, inspiration, gratitude, manifestation, and giving!

What’s your good news this week?
1 Thing that Inspires me: The growing body positive movement. I am inspired, supported, and encouraged daily by the amazing individuals who diligently spread the message of health at any size, and who are working to change and challenge beauty and “health” standards of today’s society. I’ve been in my own journey towards body and self-acceptance after years of restrictive and disordered eating behaviors, over-exercise, and body dis-morphia, and just when it seems I’ve overcome, life throws another opportunity for growth my way… As I do the work in accepting my changing body, learn to rest, and practice patience in the healing process, these women have been my guiding light: Meret Boxler, Christy Harrison, Rebecca Scritchfield, Nicola Rinaldi, along with countless other beautiful, strong individuals.
What inspires you?
1 Thing that I’m grateful for: A body that takes me beautiful places. I haven’t always been very nice to my body, and I’m not always very appreciative of the hard work it puts in daily for me… But I have been mindful of changing my ways. This past weekend I went on a beautiful hike with my husband, and while climbing over rocks and trekking through the desert, I was reminded of just how capable my physical body is, and how blessed I am to be able to explore the outdoors with ease and excitement. (I’m also pretty grateful for my hiking buddy husband!)
What are you grateful for?
1 Thing to Manifest: Flowers. I am inviting an abundance of flowers into my life this week! ♥ “Look at a tree, a flower, a plant. Let your awareness rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in Being. Allow nature to teach you stillness.” Eckhart Tolle
What does your future hold?
1 Thing to Give: I am giving to the American Heart Association this week to help one of my personal training clients raise money for her heart disease awareness platform, Let’s Have a Heart to Heart, in her running for Miss Arizona 2018. Follow Sami, Miss Tucson Old Pueblo, on Intagram and Facebook, and support her team in the 2018 Tucson Heart and Stroke Walk.
